I'm Tomas, and I've been working for Chrono24 for several years now. The first watch I ever bought was a quartz Casio tool watch with an altimeter so I could keep track of my altitude while skydiving, for example. When my father passed away, I inherited his Tissot Automatic from the 1990s. I ended up selling that watch and began buying and selling vintage timepieces online. Slowly but surely, I developed a fascination with design, functionality, and the eternal yet transient nature of every watch. The launch of Chrono24 has completely changed the luxury watch trade. It has a nice design, a great selection, and unrivaled security. I immediately felt at home. I like diving deeper into complications related to time – such as moon phase displays, perpetual calendars, star charts, and equation of time – and making them understandable to a wider audience.
